Help! Migrating Lightroom to backup drive

I had a drobo for my photography workflow. The company went backrupt and Macs no longer work with their system (the external drive does not even show up when connected). I have a backup external drive with all my photos, but I'm not sure how I can restore it in lightroom given I can no longer access my original Drobo.

 

In short, i need to make my backup drive my main drive now.

 

I appreciate any help / tips.
