Help with iphone 15 app

I got a new iphone 15 recently and updated my iOS and apps.  I opened the LR app and it has been saying "Updating... Lightroom needs to do some housekeeping.  Migrating thumbnails.  This may take a moment."  for 2 days now.  I maybe had 100 thumbnails in the app previously.  Any idea why this is happening or how to get it to unstick itself?
