Highlights slider bug?

Reproducible steps:

 

  1. Open any file in Lightroom Mobile (for Android).
  2. Push the Whites slider to +100.
  3. Gradually move the Highlights slider down.

 

As I move the Highlights slider down, the whole image gets brighter! This has to be a bug, right?

 

I've reproduced this with everything I've tried so far: three raw files created by my camera, the Sony A6000, and a JPEG I downloaded.

yes this is insanely annoying and still an issue

Is there anybody who could try to reproduce this? It seems like a clear bug to me, and it takes only moments to try to reproduce.
