I have elements 13 and have a large tagged catalog how can I get that data into lightroom cc

do I have to go through lightroom 6 to do this ?

I am trying trial lightroom before I purchase it but this is my very first step  and it seems incredibly difficult to find out how to do it

Also how does anyone get answers from adobe their support is so difficult to just send them question?

Don't know if this helps, you may have seen it already.....

How to import photos from Photoshop Elements, other Lightroom Classic CC catalogs, or apps such as iPhoto in Lightroom C…

Depending on what Plan you plan to purchase then Classic may be included?

In LR Classic go to File >> Import a Photoshop Elements Catalog

In LR CC go to File >> Migrate Lightroom Catalog

Bear in mind if you have a large catalog LR CC will need plenty of disk space for the initial copying. But once your originals are uploaded to the cloud you can free up this temporary disk space. See link below.

In Lightroom Classic don’t click “Get Started with Lightroom Mobile” top left. Keep it paused.

The only catalog that will synchronize with Lightroom CC is a catalog from Lightroom Classic CC. There is no synchronization with a catalog from Photoshop Elements. Lightroom 6 will not synchronize with Lightroom CC. "I think" you could download the trial version of Lightroom Classic CC and use it long enough to convert your Photoshop Elements catalog to a suitable catalog format that would synchronize with Lightroom CC. But I have never done it, have no information on how to do it, or how well it would work.
