How long for Lightroom CC to index my photos for new People Search AI?

Updated to latest release of Lightroom CC on my iMac and Lightroom CC for iOS on my iPhone.

The new "People" menu shows vague notification with "check back soon".

I've waited over 48 hours and still same message.

Just for fun, the dictionary defines "soon" as "in or after a short time".

I filed a tech support request and the rep told me the system is doing server-side indexing, but can't tell me how long it will take.

Really poor UI/UX. Without any feedback, even a grossly inaccurate progress bar or rough estimated-time-to-completion, I'm completely in the dark.

I still don't feel confident that indexing/scanning is actually taking place or making any progress.

Very disappointing that my first exposure to this hyped new feature is so lame.
