How to fix sequence for photos

Hi, can anyone recommend an easy way to fix the sequence of my photos in a folder? there are gaps in sequence.

Is viewing by capture date what you are trying to achieve?

I'm trying to create a timelapse on Photoshop, I used open and select image sequence, I have some gaps in sequence numbers between some photos.
