How to move my lightroom content to a different account

Hi, for several years I've been using Lightroom for my photos, using an account provided by my employer. However, I now want to move the photos to a new account that belongs to me personally. Can somebody tell me the best way to do this? I have been using Lightroom Classic, but now I plan to use the latest Lightroom CC.

Thanks,

Mark Shepherd

All you will need is the Lightroom Catalog, Lightroom Previews and Smart Previews files (all usually located in the default Lightroom Folder in Pictures/My Pictures)

Along with access to the original files.

Launch LrCC via your account and from the File menu select Migrate Lightroom Catalog.

You can migrate all your Lightroom Classic catalogs in to your new account in Lightroom CC. The option is available in Lightroom CC under File. Select Migrate Lightroom Catalog, and choose the catalog with the pictures you want to migrate.

Are you only going to be using Lightroom CC, or will you have Lightroom Classic CC as well?

Hi Jim, I don't plan to use Lightroom Classic once I have migrated.
