How to prevent auto upload?

Hi, im using Lightroom Classic (macOS) and Lightroom for iPhone / iPad.

 

Everytime i import a photo from my camera roll into Lightroom on iPhone / iPad it will automatically uploaded to the cloud. Im not adding the pictures to a folder or collection, so thats not the cause.

 

How do i turn this off? I must be possible since a friend of mine doesnt face this issue.

 

I only wans some handpicked pictures and edits in the ckoud.

    "iPhone / iPad it will automatically uploaded to the cloud." That is how the Lightroom mobile apps are intended to work.

    If you don't want all Cloud images to download to Lightroom-Classic then you should never turn on the 'Sync' in LrC.

    Re: Camera Roll photos- There is an option in Lr App Settings > Import to turn off [Auto Add from Device Photos].
