Question

How to remove, not delete, a photo from the cloud Not LrC.

Most of the answers to this query assume that I'm using Lr Classic. I'm not. I am using Lr (desktop), no catalog, etc.  I want to remove an image from the cloud that was possibly edited in the cloud (or not) and bring it back to my local ext hd to be with all of my other images. Is this possible to do, and, if yes, what is the recipe?

Thanks to one and all.

You can choose Archive Photo(s) Locally from the Edit Menu or by Right-Clicking

Another possibility is to export it as original. Once you've done that, you can delete it from Lightroom.

Hello I have just gone thru this now, as a large amount of images are in the cloud and only a few are on my local.
There is an adobe Downloader you can use to download your images from the cloud to a designated Local Drive.
