How to retain ratings or colour labels for files post export?

Hi, here's a question. When I need to export a large set of files in both RAW and JPEG to a folder. Is it possible to see the ones that were rated when looking at the exported files in Finder.

I need to be able to see the selects I have made within the entire group of exported files re-named and in sequence. 

is it possible to make them retain their star rating or colour label from Lightroom. If not  is it possible to just export the selects and have them retain their renamed sequence number?

Any ideas how I can quickly locate the 20 files I need within about 1000!
