I am a paid Lightroom subscriber.

After recent updates, Lightroom Mobile on Android renders JPG photos darker than before, including images I edited months ago.

Visual consistency is broken and the app is no longer usable for my workflow.

Cache clear, reset and reinstall do not help.

Please confirm whether this is a known regression and how it can be resolved.

    Hi @Victor3883711557ix,

Thanks for reporting this. To help narrow this down, could you please confirm a few things:

    • Which exact Lightroom Mobile version are you using?

    • Android version + device model?

    • Does this happen only with JPGs or RAW files as well?

    • Are the photos darker only inside Lightroom or also after export/share?

    • Could you please share a side-by-side screenshot comparing: Lightroom vs another gallery app (Google Photos/Samsung Gallery/etc.)

    • Also, have there been any OS updates, or have you made any changes to phone display settings?

A couple of things worth testing:

    • Disable any Android display enhancement modes temporarily: HDR Display/ Vivid Color/ Adaptive Display/ Video Enhancement modes, etc., in display phone settings.

    • Import a completely fresh JPG that was never previously in Lightroom and compare whether newly imported JPGs also appear darker

    • Check whether the Tone Curve panel wasn't altered unexpectedly and reset one affected image fully & compare.

If possible, please also share the affected sample JPG and screen recording demonstrating the issue.

That will help us investigate further and escalate to the product team.

    Best,
