I can no longer import heic or webp files into lightroom

I don't think I have ran into this issue of importing heic or webp files in a couple years, but this is an issue now. And it's frustrating. 

Now I'm having to put my photos through topaz to convert them to jpg to import them into lightroom. Which is REALLY dumb. 

Did I miss something on an update? I'm on the latest version (7.3).
