I have just migrated my desktop lightroom classic catalogue to lightroom cloud and think I've made a big mistake. I've lost the album and referencing system for the photos remaining on the desktop. Is there a fix for this please? I have managed with collections and folders on the desktop with Lightroom Classic for over 10 years, and never had significant issues apart from speed with large catalogues. I have now take the plunge and gone to lightroom on the cloud thinking that everything would be synced across all devices, but now see that only the folder view remains on the desktop, and this does not replicate the cloud view of albums (previously collections) . It is also taking an inordinate amount of time doing the first sync . I have a fairly high spec desktop but it is going at a snails pace. Is there a work round for replicating the album structure from cloud to device without having to re- download everything that has been uploaded? Any ideas please? Or is there a good manual available explaining all of this in more detail? I’ve done a few searches and not come up with much so far. I am very worried that all of this is just going to result in a huge amount of work for no real benefit, in which case I may well say goodbye to lightroom cloud and resort to old fashioned folders. Thanks
