I only want local copies of my files, nothing in the cloud - how?

I recently started using lightroom CC.

I was just informed my cloud storage is full.. I had no idea it was attempting to load my entire photo collection to the cloud (Upwards of 500GB of files)

However, I don't want to use the cloud storage, and I do not want any of my photos to exist in cloud storage. I have adequate local backup for my photos.

I have turned off sync in the desktop app, but I cant seem to find out how to remove them from the cloud storage, how can I do this?

In short, I wish to use Lightroom CC as only a local application dealing with local storage.

Ok I'm just uninstalling CC and installing Lightroom Classic instead.  But how do I remove the 20GB of photos it had already synced to the cloud from the cloud?

They don't appear under 'files' in my creative cloud.. :/

They don't count towards your Creative Cloud account.
