Question

(i) overlay or metadata in Lightroom mobile beside Lr logo is missing. It’s available in the menu but not displaying on the app. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Somehow I managed to hide the letter “I” info and ratings. This was located beside the Lr logo in the top left side of Lr mobile. I’m running the latest Lightroom mobile version. This was a shortcut that I use frequently. Now it’s gone. Any idea how to turn this back on?

    Hi ​@Macnuage, Welcome to the Lightroom Community Forum! Let's try a few things and see if we can fix the issue of your metadata disappearing.

    1. Reset Coach Marks and Dialogs:

      • Open the Lightroom app.

      • Tap the icon at the upper-left corner of the screen to bring up the sidebar menu.

      • Select Help & Support.

      • Tap Reset Coach Marks and Dialogs. This will restore the gesture tips and help overlays, including the missing overlay.

    2. Check App Preferences:

      • In the sidebar menu, navigate to App Preferences.

      • Ensure that any settings related to overlays or UI elements are correctly configured.

    3. Restart the App: After making these changes, close the app completely and reopen it to see if the overlay has returned.
