Thanks for reporting this. If you’ve already completed the identification using either the QR code or the browser link, the panel should not normally need to reappear every time you relaunch Lightroom Classic and select another folder.

Before we make any changes to your sign-in information, could you please share a screenshot of the QR code/identification panel when it appears? Please hide any personal information that may be displayed.

Could you also share:

• Lightroom Classic > Help > System Info > Copy and paste the information here.

• Whether the Creative Cloud desktop app shows that you’re currently signed in.

• Whether you’re using a VPN, proxy, firewall, or managed company/school network.

• Whether this started after a Lightroom Classic, Creative Cloud, or operating-system update.

As a first test, please:

1. Quit Lightroom Classic.

2. Quit the Creative Cloud desktop app completely.

3. Reopen Creative Cloud and confirm that you’re signed in.

4. Launch Lightroom Classic from the Creative Cloud app and complete the identification once if requested.

5. Restart Lightroom Classic and check whether the prompt returns when selecting another folder.
