Images fail to import and folders dont show images

My Lightroom app does not show images in the folders (images are there just dont show in app) and it doesnt allow new images to be imported

Can you provide some more details (device, operating system, Lightroom version etc.), so a member of the community can help? Also a screenshot would be really helpful.

Hi there, this is the free mobile app, version 6.1.0 the images are still stored and can viewed when you click on them but are not visible on the device (see attached) 

 

It has also stopped allowing new images

to be imported,  there is plenty of storage in the phone and SD Card
