Images in Lightroom Appearing Blurry at Random

Question

For some reason pictures that I view in the program are becoming unfixably blurry at random. I'll be looking at a razor-sharp photo or making some light edits on one when it suddenly becomes pixelated and fuzzy and won't return to normal for days. Exporting the image to a local folder on my computer gives me a copy that's just as beautiful as it should be, but doesn't change the version stored in Lightroom back to normal. It's gotten so bad that when I'm going through my usual hundreds of new photos after a nature hike and evaluating them, I don't quite trust what the program is showing me. Any advice would be appreciated!

I'm running Lightroom on a Lenovo Legion 5 Pro gaming laptop with 16GB RAM and a Geforce RTX 3050 graphics card, and I'm using the cloud-based edition of the editing client (version 6.1).

I'll help you figure this out. Lightroom stores the originals on the cloud & keeps optimized previews locally. When you export, a copy is rendered from the original image itself. Please share a screenshot from Edit > Lightroom > Local storage.

You can try & expand the cache size from 10GB (default) to a higher unit. You can also create a test album in Lightroom > right-click on the album > Store Album Locally & check if the previews appear as expected.
