Images (Shot in RAW) turn grainy whenever i import them into lightroom

I have shot raw images recently and i am able to upload them onto my computer with full picture quality and resolution and it looks fine straight out of the hard drive. When i add these images to lightroom or even photoshop the images turn grainy even when this grain didnt exist prior. The image below shows the lightroom version on the left with the exact same image on the right which is the source RAW picture.
