Images skipped on import

Using Lightroom Classic with iOs system.  While on a trip a companion air dropped the trip pictures on her phone to my MacBook.  They were JPG and MOV files air dropped and saved in my downloads folder.  I then opened LR and attempted to import & move them into my LR organizing system.  There were more than 300 images and all but 12 imported just fine.  The 12 were a mix of the JPG and MOV files and were just left in downloads.  When I try to import those 12 again, they are darkened and showing that they were imported already.  I have double checked and they did NOT import---but LR won’t let me select them again to do another import to pick them up.  I had followed the same procedure with other air dropped images and had no problems.  But these last 12 are giving me fits.  How do I get them imported when I can’t select them?  Thanks.

Have you tried unchecking the “Don’t import suspected duplicates” checkbox in the import dialog? By the way; Lightroom Classic has its own forum (so expect this thread to be moved) and it runs on MacOS, not on iOS.

Thank you.  Sorry for the error!  Thanks for the suggestion and then info on the LRC forum.  I’ll give that a try.
