import

Hey i'm having trouble with importing my photos from a memory card, it used to work fine and was usually quite fast, however just recently it has been taken few hours to import just a small number of pictures the last, time i 'tried')to import about 100 pictures i had to abort it because it was nearly midnight and it had been going since 7pm…… am i doing something wrong? have i updated to a new (slower) version??
