Import changes

iOS all versions for maybe last 6 months +. I used to be able to just share to Lightroom from the apple photos app, launch Lightroom from the pop up, then swipe right to the latest (assuming I was on the previous latest) image that I'd just imported. Now I can't swipe once it's launched, I have to go to the library within Lightroom first for it to show up, then select it.

I don't recall changing a setting and I can't see anything I can change to bring the old functionality back.

When the application UI changed last June of 2023, I don't think your workflow was accounted for.  I'll check with the developers to see if pushing an image to Lightroom via the iOS share sheet could programmatically take users to the latest addition to All Photos or Imported Photos in the Lightroom tab (or the Edit tab, in the free version of the app)

The idea behind the new Lightroom Device tab is that this is a view of your iOS camera roll, displayed fully inside Lightroom.  You should be able to browse camera roll images as easily as browsing around the Photos app.  Instead of having to make an effort to import to Lightroom, you can immediately begin editing camera roll images you like..
Note: to make Device tab camera roll browsing as smooth as possible, I recommend going into LR app settings, and enabling "Swipe through device photos" in the Early Access settings.
