Import from card not showing previous imports

Previously when I connected my SD card to my iPad and imported into LR, the import screen would show me which images I had already imported in previous sessions (assuming I hadn't cleared my card since my previous import). 

Today when I ran an import, the import screen did not indicate that any images had been previously imported (even though many had).  Is this a bug? Is anyone else seeing this issue?
