Imported Preset files do not appear in menu Lightroom CC

I have follows the sets to import a recently purchased XMP preset library. The import process bar activated and then a confirmation message saying they have been imported but I can't locate them in the preset menu. If I import the same files again I'm told they already exisit.. again can't locate them.
