importing desktop presets onto iPad

I recently got an iPad and when I open my lightroom app in it to edit, the only presets that appear are my mobile ones. I am trying to instal my desktop presets onto my iPad so that I can do my editing on the go, rather than bringing my laptop (where my current desktop presets are). When I click "manage presets" on my iPad, there is no option to "import presets"- rather there is only an option to "create preset" from an existing image (the way that you would install a mobile preset on LR mobile. 

I am wondering if I have the wrong LR installed on my iPad or if there is even an option to have desktop presets on my iPad lightroom? 

The desktop presets that I am trying to import into my lightroom on my iPad are .xmp files.
