importing iPhone raw pics to Lightroom mobile

I shoot on an Apple Iphone 13 Pro Max in raw format and when I export to Lightroom mobile on my phone it converts to a jpg image? This also happens when I export on my Ipad to Lightroom. How can I export as a raw file?

    You should not export to Lightroom which will make the operating system turn the image into a more standard format (jpeg in this case) but open Lightroom and import the image from the camera roll.

    Thanks Jao! That was what it was. I also had to change my lightroom settings to not open as smart previews.
