Importing photos on lightoom

Is anyone having the issue where you go to import photos to lightroom it gives you an error message saying the files can't be written?

If so how do you fix it?

Which Lightroom are you using? Where are you importing from?

You need to use your operating system tools to check the permissions for the destination folder to ensure that the folder has both read and write permissions. If the folder doesn't have both, then you need to make the change so that it does.
