I've always had problems with Lightroom, although I have a Dell G16 13gen i9-13900 hx, 32 gb Ram.

I fought, they made me download the older version

Then it crashed too

Now even The words: Default Defaults suddenly appears and doesn't work.

I downloaded the defaults again, nothing works.

In fact, the loading of the defaults seems to be blocked.

How do I solve this?

Hi @giuseppes81877906! I'm checking in to see how things are going. Are you still experiencing crashes with Lightroom?

 

I'd suggest resetting your preferences as well. Quit Lightroom, then press and hold Shift + Alt while launching the application. A dialog will appear asking if you want to reset preferences. Click yes.

Hallo 

 

Yes, its really a chaos.

 

I tryed to uninstall windows, i installed a lot of different vetsion of Lightroom.

 

Now i installed the latest one but after 3/4 worked photos it crashes.

 

I lost my Hope.

 

I want only to end my work and to buy something else.

Hi @giuseppes81877906, That sounds frustrating! Since your Lightroom keeps crashing, let's try a few things to help resolve the issue:

1. Update Lightroom, your OS, and GPU drivers to the latest versions.

2. Disable GPU acceleration in Preferences > Performance.

3. If you haven't already, Reset Lightroom preferences by holding Shift + Alt (Windows) or Shift + Option (Mac) while launching.

4. Try a new catalog to rule out catalog corruption.

5. Avoid storing your catalog in cloud-synced folders like OneDrive or Dropbox.

Did any dialogue boxes pop up to send a crash report when your Lightroom crashes? If the issue persists, please share your system info. You can find your system info by going to Help > System Info, copying and pasting it into a text file, and attaching it here.
