Question

iOS app not properly marking imported photos

On my Device tab in iOS app, I have to open a photo and then close it before it is marked with LR. In other words, Lightroom is not properly marking imported photos I have to take this extra step to determine whether photos have already been imported.

I'm not sure I understand the problem. If you select the Device tab, then Lightroom will only show the photos that are in the camera roll of the device. To get a photo into Lightroom and edit it, you need to open it. When an edited version exists in Lightroom, then the photo will be marked as an imported photo in the Device tab.

As I mentioned, Lightroom labels photos with an LR if they’ve already been imported to Lightroom. In my Device tab, there are a bunch of photos that have already imported but are not labeled with an LR. Only after I click on the photo to open it and then close the photo does the LR appear. This seems to be a new issue.
