ios16 Lightroom for mobile crash when sharing multiple selected images from WhatsApp

I received 78 images on WhstsApp.
I recently updated to ios16.1.1

when attempting to share the images, Lightroom does not appear on the list of icons. However after tapping the ... symbol, Lightroom shows among others in the share to list of Apps. 

I rebooted the phone to confirm that the bug is repeatable. See the screen below. 

Note that I can share a single image as before the update, Also 3 selected images worked OK. However, manually selecting 59 of the original 78 triggered the same error. 

Manually selecting 21 at a time, everything worked as before the update.
