iPad: Denoise is not actually applied when pasting settings to multiple photos
On Lightroom for iPad, copying the Denoise setting from one photo and pasting it to multiple photos causes the destination photos to show Denoise as enabled, but the actual Denoise processing is not performed.
This issue is reproducible with photos from multiple camera models, so it does not appear to be camera-specific.
If I disable Denoise on one of the affected destination photos and then enable it again manually, Lightroom starts the Denoise processing operation. After the processing completes, Denoise is correctly applied.
This suggests that Paste Settings copies the Denoise setting/state, but does not trigger the actual Denoise processing.
Lightroom Version Number
Lightroom for iPad 11.5.1 (7C3095/251)
OS Version Number
iPadOS 26.6
Device
iPad Pro 11-inch (M4)
Camera Model
Multiple camera models. The same behavior is reproducible with photos from different cameras.
Step-by-step Reproduction Instructions
- Open a photo in Lightroom for iPad.
- Enable Denoise and wait for the Denoise processing to complete.
- Select Copy Settings for that photo.
- In the Copy Settings dialog, select only Denoise.
- Select two or more other photos.
- Use Paste Settings to paste the Denoise setting to the selected photos.
- Open one of the destination photos.
- The Denoise option is shown as enabled, but the image has not actually been denoised.
- Disable Denoise.
- Enable Denoise again manually.
- Lightroom now starts the Denoise processing operation.
- After processing completes, the Denoise effect is correctly applied.
Expected Result
When the Denoise setting is pasted to multiple photos, Lightroom should trigger Denoise processing for the destination photos and actually apply the Denoise effect.
If applying Denoise through Paste Settings is intentionally unsupported, Lightroom should not show Denoise as enabled when the required processing has not actually been performed.
Actual Result
After using Paste Settings, the destination photos show Denoise as enabled, but no Denoise processing occurs and the actual Denoise effect is not applied.
Disabling and manually re-enabling Denoise causes Lightroom to start the processing operation, confirming that the pasted Denoise setting did not trigger the required processing.
