I'm traveling using my Ipad pro m1 as my main photo editing hardware. All my photos are stored locally on the Ipad and evey day I sync Lightroom on the cloud. But, when i dont have internet and i want to edit photo, I can't. It constantly need to download the original witch i have on the Ipad.

It drive me nuts

Is there a way to force Lightroom for ipad to use the file stored locally? Or how can i be certain i will be able to edit my photo when i dont have internet?

While you didn't specifically call it out, are you toggling on the "Store Locally" on the Album containing the photos you wish to edit? It is accessed by tapping the [ … ] button to the right of the Album. This must be done while you are synced and connected.

My guess is the photos you are asking about are actually stored in the Files folders of the iPadOS.
