iPad photo sync

My iPad Lightroom automatically syncs with my photo library automatically uploading new photos I take which is great.  However when I delete a photo from my iPhone it is not removed from the Lightroom photo library so I have lots of photos I do not want in my Lightroom library.  Lightroom appears to only sync to upload new photos but not remove deleted photos.  Is there  a way I can have it remove the now deleted photos without having to go through and do it manually myself?
