iPad v iPhone app differences

I'm using the LR mobile app on iPhone and iPad and although they are the same version they look and have different functionality. If the iPad is old, will the spec restrict what tools are available? iPhone app gives more auto processing options like sky/background/subject but the ipad app doesn't show this, just the auto button.

No, this is nothing to do with the age of the iPad (though John is correct that some features may not be available on earlier models). However, in this case the "Early Access" Quick Actions function is currently not available on the iPad version of LrMobile.

Thanks for the information, saves me upgrading my iPad. Is there anyway of finding out when the iPad app will have the additional al functionality?

No way of finding out when it will get that funcionality until it gets released (unless Adobe pre-annouce it, which hardly ever happens).

Yes, that's what is happening. Sometimes, though I can't recall when, a new feature may come to one app first, but it sounds like it's just the age/specs of the iPad.
