iPadOS [How to download images from SD card reader?]

Hello can someone please help me out.

I'm trying to unload my images using my sd card reader the Lightroom feature has stopped working . I have tried going into the privacy setting on the iPad and they are all correct . Please can someone help with this ? This is the only reason I bought my iPad .

    Is it only Lightroom that can't show the photos from the card reader, or are no iPad apps able to see the card reader?

     

    If you are not sure, you can test this using at least two other apps that come with your iPad:

     

    1. Open the Photos app (the one by Apple).

    2. Plug in the card reader with a card and wait a few seconds.

    3. In the sidebar on the left, does the card and its contents appear under the Devices section of the sidebar? (Yes/No)

    4. Unplug the card reader and exit the Photos app.

    5. Open the Files app.

    6. Plug in the card reader with a card and wait a few seconds.

    7. Does the card and its contents appear under the Locations section of the sidebar? (Yes/No)

    If you answered No to both steps 3 and 7, the card reader is not showing up in other apps, so the problem with the card reader must be investigated further as a problem in iPad OS in general, and you might need help from Apple.

     

    If you answered Yes to both steps 2 and 5, the card reader is showing up in other apps, so the card reader is working fine in general, the problem is specific to Lightroom, and we should try to help further in this forum.
