Is there a way to share an album at a specific photo size?
I just sold my old laptop and bought a Mac Mini + iPad Pro. I want to give Lightroom CC a shot and see if I can exclusively use it in my workflow. I'm trying to figure out the best way I can work with my Mac Mini and iPad to edit photos and share with clients.
With LR Classic, I'll edit a job, export the photos at 2048 pixels on the long edge, and throw those photos up on Google Drive and share them with my client.
I see with LR CC that there is a "Share Album" feature and allows people to download the photos. Perfect! I don't even need Google Drive anymore I thought... but looking into the Share Album export, it's pretty basic. I don't see any way to set the photo size that users will get when they download the album.
There is the "Save File" command where you can set a custom size, but then I would still have to export the photos and upload them to Google Drive as I do now.
Am I missing something or is "Share Album" pretty basic? Essentially my clients do not need the 6720 x 4480 size photo from my Canon 5D IV. I've been doing event photography for around 3 years now and no one has ever asked for anything higher than the 2048 on the wide edge photos I provide.
Any advice here?
I'm reading up on LR CC and Classic and it's looking more and more like I will have to just use LR Classic with Smart Previews enabled. That way I import into LR Classic and then edit the photos on my iPad using Smart Previews.
