Issue when using Object Masking tool

While using the OBJECT masking tool, lightroom fails to select the object and instead creates a distorted rectangle selction around the intended object. This issue even impacted the saved images on which earlier the object masking tool worked as expected.

 

How can this issue be resolved?

    I haven't been able to reproduce this behavior yet. Could you please share more details, like the version of Lightroom you're using and your operating system? It would also be super helpful if you could share a screen recording of your workflow recreating the issue.

    Hi Alek

     

    Attached are the three screenshots. As you can see on using the object selection masking tool, instead of selecting the intended object the tools creates a distorted rectangle selction around the object.

     

    I am using Lightroom 8.2 on a windows 11 home machine (Intel Core Ultra 7 155H 3.80 GHz, 32GB RAM).
