Issue with panels not staying open

Hi. My initial question was about how to get the "basic" panel to come back, but I found out how to do that. But now, I can only have one panel open at a time. How can I keep basic, detail, etc open at the same time like I have for the last 12 years? (I'm on a Mac). Thanks!

If you right-click on the arrow next to the panel, such as Basic, you can uncheck Solo Mode, which will enable you to keep multiple panels open.

Thanks. It took a few tries, but now is working. However, another panel is
still missing - I forget what it's called. It has the option to work with
the highlights and shadows? Any idea how I can get that back?
