Issues with Lightroom Masking version 9.4.1

I am using Lightroom (Cloud) on a Windows 11 PC with plenty of ram etc. I have noticed that since the last update (9.4.1) that when I am in the Masking tools that if I create a mask (any style of mask) and make any changes to any of the sliders if I then create another mask of any style it automatically applies all the slider changes to the next mask I create. I have tried to use “Reset Sliders Automatically” setting that doesn’t make any difference. I have also noticed that once this happens that it will not allow me to right click (PC Version) on the new mask just created to delete it. I have to go up to the EDIT on the main menu and then click “Undo New Mask”. This is very frustrating and time consuming to have to manually reset all sliders. I have been using this Lightroom (Cloud)  a few years now and have never had any of these types of issues with the masking tool. Am I doing something wrong or am I correct in thinking the controls of the masking tools have changed?

Hey, @BRT² Photography & @Sheilakb29. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out.

While I attempt to recreate this, could you share the edits and the specific masks in your workflow that triggers this behavior? What troubleshooting steps have you tried? Does this image have any global adjustments applied to it prior to the masking workflow?

You can try resetting Lightroom as a primary step in troubleshooting this.

1 - While holding down the ALT + SHIFT keys, launch Lightroom from the Creative Cloud desktop app.

2 - Select 'Yes' when prompted to reset Preferences.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

@Sameer K I tried the reset at startup and the same issue exists. After doing some research it sounds like it’s a known issue that several users are experiencing, now whether or not Adobe with address it in the near future who knows. No matter how many times I use the UNDO feature and try to create a new mask it continues to do the same thing. Very frustrating and time consuming to reset all sliders after creating a new mask.

I am having SO MANY issues since the last update. I deleted it and re-installed it because of the issues I was having. Now I've just re-installed it and I'm having this issue. You are not alone, something is wonky.
