Issues with syncing and issues with error in catalog

I am trying to upload more photos into Lightroom. When I do, I get an error messagage that says "error in catalog". What I'm also realizing is that I still have 158 photos that have not finished syncing and its been almost 2 weeks! HELP. I need to download new photos and cant and I need to edit for a family photo shoot like YESTERDAY!
