it keeps glitching and saying that it is having problems reading the files of my images. Whenever I close it and reopen it works for awhile and then does it again, Ive tried multiple different hard drives and it is still doing it.

I’m guessing you’re using Local mode on the Desktop app?
 

Are they all external hard drives? Does the same occur if the photos are on the internal drive? I’m wondering if perhaps the drives are going to sleep or getting disconnected, or perhaps there’s an issue with the usb port. When it says it’s having problems with the files, can you still browse that drive with your standard file browser (Explorer/Finder)?
 

Are you Windows or Mac? The contents of Help menu > System Info may offer us some clues in troubleshooting.
