Just installed CC and the LR install is stuck on waiting

I just bought Adobe CC (version 6.1.0.587.7) and Lightroom. I completed the CC intall, but now Lightroom is stuck on Waiting. My iMac is new and I am running Sonoma 14.2.

    The current version of Lightroom Desktop (Lightroom last used the "CC" name in version 2.2.1 in 2019) is 7.2. If your Creative Cloud Application is up to date and refreshed, you should be seeing 7.2.  Please verify you are current on your CCD App, uninstall the Lightroom App, and then reinstall it after restarting your computer.
