Just reinstalled Lightroom mobile; why is it showing OLD images?

Question

I just reinstalled LR Mobile. Why is it showing old images from the last time I tried the app last winter, photos that no longer exist on my phone?  (I'm also not using the cloud with LR on my computer.) 
 
How do I get LR Mobile to forget those old photos from last winter that I don't need synced anymore?

Hi,

Please go to Lightroom.adobe.com, then sign in with your registered email to check if you are able to see the images there. If you do, it would indicate that the images were synced with the cloud storage the last time you imported them. You can delete the images from the mobile app or from Lightroom web itself.
