Sorry for the delayed response, and thank you for sharing the details. It seems you’re currently using an older version of Lightroom. A similar issue was reported in version 8.4 and has been resolved in 8.5. Please update to the latest release, Lightroom 8.5.1, and let us know if the issue persists.

Thanks for the welcome!!

Have attached a screenshot of grid view where the vertical images are distorted to fit into a horizontal space. It would be helpful when reviewing images for them to appear in the aspect ratio as shot, not distorted.

Welcome any suggestions as to how to make this happen.

Lightroom version 8.4

on Mac OS Sonoma 14.6.1
