As you can see in this video, Lightroom Classic CC has a shortcut combo that allows to keep the Crop Tool open and jump to the next picture. Shortcut is (with the crop tool active) ⌘ + →

Is the same possible in Lightroom CC?

Apparently you have tried it and it didn't work in the cloudy version. So, no, that feature is only available in Lightroom Classic.
