Keyword sync between LR mobile and LR (CC) desktop

Hi, I use only lightroom (formerly LR CC, now just LR. the NOT-classic one to be specific), both on my desltop and mobile (android phone and tablet). 

When I manually assign a keyword on the desktop app, this keyword also appears on the phone and tablet and I can filter for keywords. However, if I try to apply an existing keyword using the mobile app, there is no ato-complete from the drop-down list. If I add a keyword using the mobile app, it is not synched to the desktop app. Editing sync both ways is no problem. I have the photo subscription plan, so it should not be an issue with a "premium" feature. Is this a known bug, or is this intended? 

Of course I've searched the forum, but all discussion seem to deal with sync issues between LR classic and LR(CC), but as I stated, this is not the problem I observe. Thanks in advance for your advice.

In Lightroom Mobile, auto-complete on keywords isn't available yet.

 

I only use iOS, but keyword syncing from mobile to desktop, works fine as expected.

    It's also working fine from an Android phone to the cloud, but make sure after adding the keyword on the Android device that you move onto another image. It looks as though the iOS and Android versions are different in this respect, i.e. iOS will sync the keyword change even while the image is still selected, whereas Android waits until switching to a different image before syncing the change.
