Question

Keywords vs People

I am cataloguing many old photos scanning nearly 50 years, on a Windows computer.  Mostly the People photo comes up, sometimes it doesn't. If it doesn't come up, I put the person's name in Keywords instead. For search purposes, can you please confirm that I only need to put the person's name in either of these places, not both.

There are 20 programs in a full subscription, plus other non-subscription programs
Please post the exact name of the Adobe program you use so a Moderator may move this message to that forum

Thank you. Sorry my question wasn’t specific enough. My question related to Windows desktop Lr v 4.3.

Yep, wrong community, this is the Lightroom Classic community.

see:

https://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-lightroom-classic/lightroom-cc-vs-lightroom-classic.html

and (a bit dated)

https://www.digitaltrends.com/photography/lightroom-cc-vs-lightroom-classic/

You want/need, to post at:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-ecosystem-cloud-based/bd-p/lightroom?page=1&sort=latest_replies&filter=unresolved

If you post your own reply, stating "Please move this post to Lightroom Community" the monitors might do so.
