Question

Lack of fluid movement when adjusting crop frame

After I crop a photograph, if I try to move the frame along the photograph (for example, to focus on different areas of the image), it doesn't move fluidly. It seems like it's snapping to some grid or moving incrementally. Because of this, it's very difficult to center the image and get the composition how I picture it in my mind

Hi @Precious_Odyssey5EAD, welcome to the community!

Could you tell us a bit more about the issue you're running into? What version of Lightroom are you using? If you're able to share a quick screen recording, that would really help us understand what's going on and offer better support.

Looking forward to helping you out!

Alek

Thanks for the warm welcome and for offering to help, @Aleke!

I've attached a video example (the second attempt in the video is more representative of what I usually experience). The issue seems to occur only when trying to move a frame that is full-width or full-height. I'm running Lightroom mobile v10.4.4 on a Pixel 9 Pro XL running Android 16 (this issue used to affect my previous phone as well: a Xiaomi Redmi).

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi @Precious_Odyssey5EAD! It looks like your recordings didn’t come through. Would you mind trying to post them again? If it still doesn’t work, you can also upload them to a file-sharing site like Google Drive or Dropbox and share the link here. Thanks so much!
