Lens Correction For Canon EF-S 18-135mm -- Is It Only When RAW?

Reading the forum for a few minutes, I have seen a post that lens corrections may be only when the image is stored as RAW format.  For a Canon EF-S 18-135mm lens, is this the case?

Correct answer Jim Wilde

Yes, that is correct. The vast majority of lens profiles supplied by Adobe are for raw files only. There are a handful of profiles for Canon lenses which can be used on Jpegs, but these do not include the EF-S 18-135. Profiles for that lens are specific to raw files.
