What version of Lightroom? You posted in the Lightroom ecosystem forum, but you talk about 'library' and a 'catalog' which is Lightroom Classic.

Hey, sorry i used LrC many years, but i do mean Lightroom. Version 8.4 with no updates available.
Main issue is the filters dont work, but also i dont see the edits in the photos. Yesterday before the mac update it worked.

Anything else seems to work as well.

Do you need any more information?

Thanks!

Hi @MaxTakesPhotos,

Thanks for clarifying and for sharing the details. Here are a few things to try:

  • Go to https://adobe.ly/4ovFW8j and ensure everything is synced. Once confirmed, sign out of Lightroom and sign back in. This can refresh the sync state and often resolves display or filtering issues.
Also, ensure the Creative Cloud desktop app is up & running in the background.

  • If the problem persists, try resetting the app preferences. Hold down Shift + Option while launching Lightroom, then choose Reset Preferences when prompted.

If none of these steps help, please share:

  • A short screen recording showing the filter issue

  • Whether the same behavior happens in Lightroom Web (https://adobe.ly/4mBHxrr)

  • Copy & paste your system info from Lightroom (Help > System Info).

This will help us determine whether it’s a rendering issue or a filter logic problem. Thanks for your patience while we work through this!

Best,

sorry for the typos; can't edit and am in a rush.
I restarted my mac and closed/opened the app multiple times. Will try further and update if something works.
